Graceful Confidence is aftercare, not crisis response — this page is about what's actually available to you now, once you're past the immediate emergency.

If you're in immediate danger, please use the crisis line above first. Everything below is for the ongoing work of rebuilding — the part that comes after safety. Not in immediate danger but still need a resource? Visit our Safety & Privacy page.

Peer Support

A small group of survivors, led by survivors. No pressure to retell or explain what happened to you — just space to hear your own voice again, at your own pace. Peer Support is our first program, with our first group planned for mid-January 2027.

Peer Support is free to participants. What you share in the group stays in the group — it's a confidential space among participants, kept separate from how we handle website data (see our Privacy Policy for that).

Peer Support may be a good fit if:

  • You're past the immediate crisis and ready to keep rebuilding.
  • You'd like to be with women who understand, without having to explain.
  • You want to share at your own pace, or simply listen.
  • You can join us in person in Texarkana.

It may not be the right step yet if:

  • You're in danger right now. Please call 911 or the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 first.
  • You need counseling or therapy. We'll help you find a licensed professional, and Peer Support can walk alongside that work later.
