Graceful Confidence is a survivor-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Texarkana, Arkansas. We give survivors of intimate partner violence, human trafficking, and exploitation a community where they can connect, receive support, and rebuild their confidence and independence. Our leadership carries lived experience of intimate partner violence and the rebuilding that follows. Here's exactly where things stand, and where we're headed.

A small, in-person group of survivors, led by survivors, in Texarkana. Our first group begins mid-January 2027 and is free to participants.

Walks with women coming out of human trafficking, exploitation, and captivity toward freedom: safety, choice, dignity, healing, and belonging. Led by screened, trained volunteers under board oversight. We're building relationships with trusted partners for housing, legal, clinical, and crisis needs, so we can connect women with a warm handoff.

Graceful Confidence organizes its long-term work around six pillars: Secure Housing, Teaching Life Skills, Restoring Confidence, Overcoming Trauma, Changing Patterns, and Gaining Independence — each accomplished through partnership with practitioners and direct service providers, not delivered by Graceful Confidence alone.
Where we are today
Peer Support is our first program, with our first group planned for mid-January 2027. Registration is open now. Restorative Retreats are coming in 2027. HER Ground is active now, with a screened volunteer team forming. The rest of our work will grow through the partner and practitioner relationships we're building now. As partnerships and volunteer engagement grow, we will document participation and community involvement as part of our organizational evaluation and reporting.
